1st to talk about friday. went jogging in NTU. wah... its damm shag manz. Even with Steph's encouragement, i still hardly completed the intended route. must train up towards December 3rd....
then sat afternoon was WJ's church wedding. So sweet, with video clips and pictures of them and their love story. They finally got married after 100 months( 8 years). so glad for him and fabia. and fabia sang real well manz... can join Spore Idol !

the highlight of the week....... Forbidden City! nice buildup as Steph took me to a nice restaurant to have dinner.A surprise for me too. then we went to hear Kit Chan sing at the Durian. 2nd time in there ( after 'Singing in the rain') , i still like the fantastic ambience in there. glad she liked her 1st musical.

Sunday was super slacking day at home. practically lazing ard and rotting. Finally spent the whole day watching self- financed SCV.
was it de ja vu??? seems like this paragraph appeared b4. not strange as my sundays used to be like this......

A "more than usual" monday blues. a bad hairday... a bad state of mind.... kind of a bad start to the week.
went to the SU14 1st GM... kind of found myself distant from the comm le.. maybe i shldnt have gone in the 1st place. but Steph was there and i am glad she still likes the prog feeling. Maybe i am old liaoz... sighzz.....
a mixed feelings and thots which prob time will be the answer to them. i think i m thinking too much, prob afraid to lose precious things around me.
Arrrghh..... just an odd weirdy day perhaps.
Need a good rest n sleep. havent really recovered from that mega adhoc project.

Programmers!! More than just friends.....special project TOMY

Its tomy's birthday ydae. 17 sept 06. Junjie, Cuimei, Steph and I came up with an idea for him, That is to gather all the closest friends from programmers, 27 of us to make a pack of poker cards for him( including 2 joker). appreciated those who had contributed the photos !
then we endured nights to make that ' looked easy to make' deck of poker cards. These 3 working personel and 1 FYP personnel finally accomplished the task. So at Kbox marina sq, where the bday MAN finally arrived after his busy filming schedule, we, ( in terms of seniority: shujun, shuling, Shifeng, JJ, Me, IZ, Steph,Anna, Edmund, Ilona,Jacq,Lixin) sang a bday song and present the cake , and of cos the PRESENT. programmers from SU7 to SU13 prog comm lor.

realised that it takes great effort to make a customised present for someone. not those bought off the shelf. So tomy , really thanks for those presents u have made for most of us!
Also, CM, i got to know u much better! Steph, glad u are ard to help with the excel and photohop editing, while i keep dozing off. JJ, inject your creativity and flair into the cards and the presentation ceremony. Really thank those who came down Kbox to sing song, eat buffet , depsite their work, FYP, quizes..... also all those whose faces appear in that deck of cards. Actually, i wished to duplicate that for myself!

its sept 11. its again news and reports commemerating the tragic disaster that shook the world. Its also the start of the IMF meeting held at Suntec Convention Centre. The 4 million smiles for the whole world , instead of to fellow Singaporeans.... what an irony...

anyway, it is also my busiest day at work till now. Finally tasted the real thing. haha
my mentor was on course and i covered for him. Some admin paperwork was urgent and need immediate action. I ended up the whole day meddling with it. However, time flies when u are occupied.

its another insurance session for dinner . looks like i will decide and stick to this plan from finexis, from JJ's bro good friend. some soccer kaki at JJ hse.Now lazy to go thru the policy leh. Maybe bring to office and browse thru tmr.

monday blues ... but fast fading for this week. not a bad beginning to the week. world peace.... free of terrorism. however, avoid suntec ya?
haha... one of my good friend in Esplanade for the hottest show in town at the moment. So good luck to THEM.

new Saturday routine!

i have been liking and enjoying my life right now. Work has been manageable for me though its pretty easy. really depends on whether i use the free time to do something meaningful and upgrade myself.
Also, as i am living my phase of life, i really liked it. my friends have been bugggin for years to get myself a gf. SO to those buggers, now i have done it. And its really worth the wait.

Saturday routine

Had breakfast in Can2 , eating the setA .. the eggs are good. Steph was like drooling over it.
morn 11am went with Steph for a swim in NTU. she siao one... keeping upping the laps , so i have to follow suit, ended up with 24 laps(1.2km) .

Went shopping at Marina SQ. She kept trying out clothes and anticipating her teaching days ahead. until i was so tired and just wanna have a place to sit down and rest.... Opps.. does all bf have this problem?

anyway, as usual . i am back at my grandparents place for sat dinner. the normal chats and talks. o manz, my cousin Gwen is learning mj, where she doesnt even touch it at all before.

Later, its soccer time. now i can watch them live in my house, after SCVconncection last week.
No need to bother my great pal JJ anymore or to go kopitiam and watch with uncle le.
its really antangonising to see pool fall 3-0 to its merseyside rivals . a day where mistakes come one after another.

real tired after a days ' work'.....finally get to sleep to whatver time i wanna wake up and slack in bed!!

Graduation convo 26 July
WOW!!! my parents were prob the most happy ones to see their 1st child finally graduated!!!
I was kinda uncomfortable in that gown , but the pictures turn out real good! fellow grads, u all look so happy in them too!

Graduation Dinner and BIRTHDAY 28 July
After work , i appeared at the MAE convo dinner... Yes, its MAE. kinda wrong place for a EEE grad. However, most of my best pals in CTSS,JJC and NTU year1 are in MAE. I wish to enjoy our grad together. i was surprised but touched when they bought a small bdae cake and sang it infront of the other tables! maybe the bdae boy really deserves a present, and he walked away with the top prize of the lucky draw, a PSP!.. .. sorry MAE, a EEE grad got your top prize

Convo outdoor shoot 30 July
Yeah my JC classmates gathered to go for this outdoor shoot. An 'ingenous' idea to drive cars around , so we dont feel the heat... But we end up walking and walking... haha. however, we dont mind! happy snapping photos and posing! really glad the gers turned up. they didnt really complained... but its really hot!!! the dinner at that Greek restaurant in Bukit Timah was good. thanks for the bdae treat, S9!!!

work and getting used to working like. Life has changed , no longer the easy flexible schedule i adopt during uni days. waking up early and resting early is essential. work has become serious and i need to get rid of my procastinating nature asap. nevertheless, i joined my colleagues in soccer and ktv and lunch, enjoying fun times and laughter besides work.

This week is really a new phase( not phrase, tsk tsk) of my 25 years of life. thanks to her which made it happened. and of cos thanks to my great pals which made it extra meaningful. 1st time 1 see a cake was used and candles on it blown for 3 occasions. of cos, the 3rd occasion was really unexpected and we were really touched.

Now that life has changed significantly, i shall not neglect friends and events that occurred before this transition. i will continue to treasure them. and similarly, thanks to the special ones ( one, actually. haha) where my 'new' life begins. really looking 4ward to the times ahead. full of unexpected therefore memorable, special therefore cherished , events ahead!!! so xin foo....not sinful but 幸福/ 姓符。

my Stay at my workplace was easy and slow.. my seniors say this 1st 2 months are the honeymoon months in DSTA. so i must enjoy these 2 months. Also, i just came back from an Induction programme. its real enriching as i got to know fellow new incoming colleagues. Out of the 30 odd people, almost 20 are from fresh graduates from NTU lor. :P
topics on "learning skills for customer interaction", " organisation learning" really benefits me. It makes ponder how conflicts always arise within friends, and also the committees during uni days. It make me more aware of my weakness , to overcome and understand other people too.
Now i am back . havent check my office mail for some time liaoz. a couple of admin stuff to prepare and submit.

1st week at work

Yesh, its my 1st week of work. its really a relaxing week. and the company really was giving us new employees time to adapt and slowly fit in. However, its really a long time since i wake up at 6.45 am every morning and leave home at 7.15am. So, although the workload is easy, i felt lethargic and tired at work. hope i can adjust to the time biological clock asap.
The induction programe and package was impressive. After a morning of introduction lectures by HR, we were shown our desks and collected my laptop, windbreaker and polo tshirt.
I was assigned to a colleague as my buddy, and he gave me a brief intro of the expectation.
Job timing is flexible, which really fits me.
my cubicle is spacious, though its really tall, and practically nobody noes what other pple is doing unless they walked into the cubicle. which means i can ocassionally take a nap... haha
looking 4ward to the 2nd week of work.!
went back to witness the nite cycling during the sports camp senior camp. looking fine, though things to be improved. also the final day of world cup, may the best team wins!

GENTING and JJ LIN concert

power concert by JJ Lin. the crowd was awesome. the atmosphere was good. HE sang real well. His guest stars , ' gold sand ' and ' in the rain' was just as outstanding. He even sang cantonese song. I really enjoyed it manz. even the encore was power, he came out with 'Cao Cao' , wearing two long feelers like Lu Bu. ( wrong dressing lor..keke).
Genting... nice weather. lost 150RM at the casino... playing ' big small' . and also watching England playing 'bowling' , with every shot hitting the pin. real worth it package...
if not for losing at the casino....

pri sch visit and sentosa outing

wahz.. i went to visit Pei Tong Primary School. Its already closed for future rebuilding... i even see Blanga walking ard. But the infrastructure is still intact for the time being. Too bad i cannot go into the main building.So only walked ard the outside.. Really brought back many almost-forgotten memories. I saw the future building of the school n was glad my sch has a major facelift. but hor, also saddened that the scenes of my childhood schooldays will physically vanish.... anyway, it was great to be there!
then after a nite of mj at tomy hse, we went sentosa. we didnt do much though... just tanning and gossiping... the sun was indeed sunny...keke
then we ate sakae sushi.... eat until so full. but hor... they think i ate so little.. had a good weekday outing at sentosa... something i cant do when i start work..... next week
looking for the Genting trip tmr....:p

went for a mj session at tomy hse ydae nite. this morning , we had breakfast at JP mac. Steph was the big winner lor, so she gave a treat.
anyway, we chatted about our singlehood and views on getting a gf.
Realised that guys differ in what a gf shld be. However, i believe that personality is the no 1 priority. Now i know what kind of gers Tomy and Isaac like liaoz... haha..
just booked JJ lin concert at Genting. Its a room package which is indeed reasonable. A SGD 170 package includes 2 concert tics and a one night stay and the cable car tics for 2. Looking 4ward to the trip, which just precedes my 1st day of work.

starting a blog was easy. but now, maintaining one is difficult. i dont know if i should continue like a diary... or like a 'forum' to display my current thoughts, or to place to complain complain.....

If not , its watching world cup and sleeping . really aimless and rotting days.
met up with my JC s9 classmates at settlers cafe in Holland V. everyone was so hungry lor... and food finally came about 9pm.ya , it was pretty enjoyable, as usually i see the working personnel stressed and shacked... at least they were laughing and joking. i wonder how bad my joy and happiness will be affected when work start in 2 weeks time...hmmm ...

Taiwan Day ONE

let me start with Day 1/15 of my recent Taiwan trip.
It was really a fruitful and exciting trip, with my super funny and corny kakis.

We gathered at changi terminal one, with all sizes of bags. Esther came with just a bag ,which is smaller than the one i carry to school lor and Diwei was like going on a 30day Mt Everest trip.

The ride on Jetstar was a roller coaster one.. think the plane is too small, or the 珍珠 typhoon sneezed. Anyway, we finally touched down safely in Taipei and headed my way to 西门丁.

We stayed at Rainbow Hotel. just in the heart of 西门丁. It was about 8pm. So we walked walked. ate ate, saw saw. (走走,吃吃,看看)

FA CUP to Anfield

Wow... another superb comeback from Pool to win the FA cup.. its again inspirational Steven Gerrard who has smashed a 35 yard drive in 91st min to force it into extratime. And its Reina who shared the limelight, saving 3 out of 4 spotkicks.
Anyway, went kopitiam to watch that match with those blangla and thai nationals... bobian cos JJ is overseas in taiwan... cannot go his hse watch.

Talking about the taiwan trip, i am looking 4ward to it manz... its like planned but some things still unconfirmed... thats what backpacking is about... keke... our dear San Diego roommate popped out at the last min to join the taiwan trip... wahz.. its good to hear me joining... but some adjustments need to be made ... anyway... can be sorted out.

Life 's dull at home , just merely watching drama serial and sleeping. but hor, its not boring to me.. cos its really long time since i slack like this..... enjoying my slacking!

Anime Marathon

now is anime time. Inital D stage1 to stage 4.... my friend just lent me and i am now watching stage1... probably finish it in 2-3 days... then i will start 《天外飞仙》. the song for 《天外飞仙》by SHE, 《一眼万年》is my favourite song now... another outstanding work from JJ Lin.
yeahz.. now my fyp presentation is over... election also over. job also more or less settled. ican say i am at ease and gonna enjoy my taiwan trip. really looking 4ward to it.

Yeahz. I am so glad that i am offered the position of Project Engineer(Communication System) at DSTA . Firstly, its project management which appeals to me. So i can touch touch less on software stuff. Also it involves wireless comms, cellular comms and computer networks.. its really my interests... Though i know it will be a springboard for my next career(hee hee), DSTA seems a really good place. Tempted by the big bucks in semicond industry , but i will be there for the money, not my interest. Sounds like i gonna take it up this offer , but i still hestitiating till the last day of offer.... keke

Drama Marathon....

Since my last paper ended on wed.... i have been watching a drama serial 《倚天屠龙记》 and i finish this 40 episode serial in 3 days. realy a marathon. Yah its an old show to most of u .. 苏有朋 and　贾静雯. She is real pretty manz! i think big and sparking eyes is really my type....

keke... its just one of those priated DVD dramas that i bought when i was on GIP in China. its only S$1 per disc.. and a 40 epsiode serial only need 5 disc... should have bought much more and ship back... haha. recently downloaded 《黑社会》1 and 2 and watched them also.

I was thinking ...武林 and 古惑仔 same mah... both are unwanted by the government. one is by the 朝庭, the other one by the police. but the treatment is so different. both are 江湖 also. but one is 行侠仗义, one is 偷鸡摸狗... perhaps time has changed... keke.. i think i watched show until i dont know what i am saying...but looks like i am still continuing with watching DVDs. compensating times i have sacrificed other the past year for studies. :P
There is still intial D, 《天外飞仙》and《神雕侠吕》... think i will just spend the next week... just rotting at home watching them. Then its probably my taiwan trip!!!

EXAMS OVER....

Yeahz ...exams over. even left the exam hall 20 mins b4 the end of paper.. too sianz to double check my work.... anyway, should be enuff to clear the paper. Now is to have a days break..
then its to have a last burst on the FYP presentation on Monday.
Jobhunting has been ongoing.. and hopefully i get a job real soon!!!
so when i come back from my taiwan trip... i can start work ... then income comes in.. then so does stress...keke
Yeah... really glad exams are over and done with. Perhaps its time to meet up with old friends.

YEAHz, i have ousted the headache from my body. Though slacking in the library today watching 康熙来了- 吳宗憲as guest. its really funny, but also very personal. In spore, he probabaly would be sued for defamation...haha... I also watch scary movie 4. Its damm stupid as usual, but really relaxing and nobrainers entertaining.
I slack for most of the day.But the night was productive for my revision. So satisfied with myself.
I wanna decorate my blog with stuff.. So lao jiao bloggers help me out,ya? e.g how to have a comment window, a site meter or import a video...

The challenge for SECOND in the EPL

Yeahz... the Reds have closed in on the race for 2nd with an excellent 3-1 win. Steven Gerard with a stunner from 25 yards..magnificent. presenting to you the PFA's Player of the Year.

Elsewhere Chelski claiming the big prize.. and its boss throwing 2 championship medals into the crowd... siaoz...give the reserve players oso good.
now, may the better team clinch the 2nd spot. However, its a worry for England , watching john terry limping and worse, roooooney stretchered off... with the world cup in 6 weeks time.
These are probably the only things i can remember for the day. my headache still lingers.. want to study also cannot... what to sleep oso cant sleep..
o ya, at my weekly dinner with my bigger family, my aunts, dad and uncle were joking about the elections.. they say I am those that will surely vote opposition if i am called upon to vote. And I can say they are right.
I believe competition will bring the best results..though probably at the moment, the quality of opposition is still questionable...However.. without giving them a chance, how u noe they cannot make it?? i personally feel that there should not be GRCs.. but all SMCs...
anyway, i am happy with the current situationin the area. my dad is in the grassroots and i know it is in good hands now.
arrghh,, thats probably all . now to swallow another panadol and try to catch some sleep.

Headache day

Its really a head bulging day. The afternoon E427 software engineering paper is really memory intensive. Wah, its like i still donnoe how to do the paper, arrrgh.. Anyway, my headache still linger till now. I knocked out once i am back at home.
After dinner, i tried to find a new skin for my blog... its seems tough manz.. dealing with html. cant find a suitable one. thinking of creating my own, But hor, donnoe how also. aiyah.. some one can teach me HTML and some tips on blogging....want to add angie's blog as a link also cannot.
my taiwan kakis discussed online about our trip... yeahz... got two ladies planning the trip... i can be slacker..
I coulnt take it after that. Stress,coupled with headache... O manz.. so i resort to my destress tool, the 钢琴... accompanying me since I am 13.
now feeling better somehow.....

Anyway, that was my 1st attempt.
Todays hoo-ha is on Singapore politics manz.. Though PAP has not gain enough seats to be government yet, I cant really make the difference, cos my GRC was uncontested.Why no oppostiion want to contest the west part of Singapore, except those SMC??? I was listening to Newsradio 93.8 over my motorola phone and when they announced Hongkah GRC walkover, I sian ji pua. But i heard people in the background cheering " Ole , Ole Ole Ole...." Its really weird manz.. donnoe where these supporters come from.... its not SAFFC vs HOME... and oso,they no need to work meh?
oso,wasted my time staying up to watch two 0-0 matches over the last 2 nights. now hope Barca win the champ league, cos i put 25 bucks on it to win at 3.60. keke... but actually, as long as it is an exciting match... i am happy.

My 1st Encounter

Hey this is my first Blog post!!!!!!! After recent blog sagas about racism, XiaXue, Dawn, even in 小孩不苯2, i not too sure if i should start blogging. But here I am! The last time i did something close to this was in Primary Six. I wrote diary those days. now that i read them, I laughed at my own writing and drawings. It also brings back fond memories.
I have to thank my sports camp buddy for 'introducing ' me . keke... I was browsing thru Friendster while i was looking at her profile and her blog link. So i clicked.. From there, i got to know her happiness, laughter, sorrow, agony...( though it has been tough on her these days). I realise that i should also record happenings and events about me. Not only myself and my recollections, oso for people around me that are concerned about me. Usually,we ' hi- bye' without catching up on one another.
So, thanks Angie for that! Btw, cheer up ya? u know the free chatline number , right? donnoe? call me and instantly u know!

This is really a weird time to start on this. I am in the midst of my final semester exams of NTU! 5 papers in 10 days... its the worst timetable i ever had.. and will have( keke).. I am coping well though. Cos i believe nothing can really change the honours degree i expect to get. So i just do enuff , can liaoz... Soon , it will be all over. and my taiwan trip!!!!
Still pondering whether to lie on my bed,zzzzzzzzz.... or to wait a while more for Barca- AC match..... hoping for a gunner-catalan final...
